I said to everybody almost all the time that I adore Sarah Burton, and I'm still mention her as the most successful successor. Yes, the label Alexander McQueen is always on my top list under her hand.
For spring 2014 Burton doing something different, no more Victorian, Edwardian or Elizabethan looks on the runway. What we see are eclectic tribal warrior. We can see African warrior with ostrich and prints, the powerful Amazon warrior with harness, or Celtic warrior with kilt.
In Alexander McQueen headpiece is important. Season by season, we seen an alien goggle to a honey comb hats, and now we get a golden helmets. Burton also plays with some graphics detail. Some Mondrian and half Picasso appears in raw form. It isn't a prints, it's beads and feathers, those are arranged in check patterns.
